so i've been released from my small room charges. what this means is that i can move to a large single. more room. place to crash for friends. sweet. no more shoebox living!

i've defaulted on finding term projects on my own, and decided to do already specified projects. well..... in 643, i'm going to be working with another person on a group project, but i still can have a say in what we do... however, for 587, i gave up. i have no clue what would be a good parallel computing project (well, i do, but it would take more than a term to complete). so there. i have my term projects, but now is the actual hard part of doing them.

aside from these projects, school is still tough all around. i have no free time anymore, but somehow, i do stuff like this journal-thing (i don't like the word "blog"... sounds horrible)... but, i haven't watched a movie at all this semester, hardly watch tv, play video games... so as a whole, i'm doing good about abstaining from fruitless pursuits.

i've applied to get a gsi appointment for next semester. i need $$ bad. anything to get rid of my loan dependency. it's going to be a trip teaching this crazy cs stuff to undergrads. silly undergrads. how high and mighty i have become (ducks and covers, waiting for lightning to strike down).

yes, i'm retarded... now it's time to study for an exam that's 24 hours away.
