i'm now earning $$$. kinda sweet. i've almost forgotten what ca$h reserves in the 3-4 digit range feels like. man. i can't wait to save up and spend.... gotta help the economy ya know.

grad apps are nearly complete (i've been saying this since september. just need to mail in some final things... i need to hear back from a prof soon. i might have to call her.

as for what's been taking up my time... i've listened to a friend's recommendation/exaltation of gentoo and i'm going to install the bad puppy. stage1 all the way.

oh, and i gained 5 pounds this past turkeyday.
