mixed emotions

so... unless you live under a rock, or you just don't care, michigan lost. i'm hurt. i'm not devastated, b/c it was a good game. fact is, not everyone showed up to play. if you want to get a more spirited response from a michigan fan, just look around online and you'll find essays about yesterday's game. i'm done with it. let's look at what's ahead: go notre dame!... at least for one week.

so why is this post entitled mixed emotions? the 9ers straight sucker punched the seagalls. 5-5. wow. the division leading seagalls are a mere 6-4. my heart is a flutter.

so you see, i expect annual dominance from michigan, but it's been awhile (circa mariucci) since the 9ers resembled a football team. my brain is busy calculating the bcs ramifications of the following two weeks in terms of the bcs, but my heart is a-flutter with postseason aspirations for the better team in the bay.

sigh. this weekend could have been the most perfect weekend.
