so...

since, i'm lazy about this whole thing, i'm going to wrap up the other days of my spring break trip (3 wks ago) in one shebang.

sunday: i follow dan to his huge church and we end up meeting w/ d-sul and get some yummy tommy burger. chilli is good on everything. later in the day, my friend paul picks me up from dan's digs. i meet gina when we get to paul and gina's new digs. we decide to head on over to vegas to do some damage to my pocket book.

sunday-nite & monday: i pretty much lose $250 on poker. i'm kinda irked on this. i realize that i can't stand low-limit texas. the bellagio was the saving grace of the trip though. i think their well rob-roys are one of the best i've ever had. but aside from the free drinks and gambling, i visit my aunt who's in the middle of chemo and what not since she's been diagnosed with cancer in the last year. she treats me and paul for one of the best sushi buffets that i've ever eaten at. we help her with her shopping and some other errands. we get back into la at around 8ish on monday. gina, paul and i head out to eat some soon-du-bu chi-gae. more yum. then i just crash back at their nice condo in the guest room.

tuesday: i pretty much veg around for the day. i like doing nothing sometimes. i watched a couple movies on dvd, and sorta cleaned up around their condo. did the dishes and all that. when paul and gina get back from work, we head on out to get some jam-ppong and cha-chang-myeun. if you haven't noticed, food is a recurring thing out in cali for me. so many choices, so little time.

wednesday: i hung out my cousins sunhae, jinwon and eunhae. i asked sunhae for some home cooked dduk-bok-ki. we do all the typical catching up and what not. they're all doing well, and sunhae is showing her pregnancy. oh.. btw.. gina is pregnant, too, but not as showing. in any case, i gave the expecting mothers some gifts for their soon-to-be's.

thursday: by now, i'm back at usc, hanging around with dan. we just kinda hang out going here and there, eating things. heh. in the evening, i meet up with kathy, whom i haven't seen in the longest time. we head out near where she lives for some steak (me) and burger (her). good meal, and again, just plain catching up with a good friend.

friday: again.. more eating with dan and all that. i end up shooting pool with jinwon over in k-town. i love 4-9 now.... just translate that. hehe. but anyway, in the evening, i setup plans for me to go golfing on saturday morning with dave. in the evening, dan and i head on out to the dresden room again. this time, we sit right in front of marty and elaine and just enjoy the music. a very pretty chick (again, older... dan dubs her "celion dion looking chick), sits next to us in the next table over. a few bursts of conversation but nothing much. after the dresden room, dave picks me up to crash over near the course we're going to play at the next morning.

saturday: i play golf in the morning with dave, then dave, paul and i head out to in-and-out. i expressly wanted to eat in and out on the last day out in cali to make it the last memory that i have of cali until my next trip. one red-eye later...

sunday: i'm in grand rapids again. snow is actually off the ground, and i just spend the day running around with the gr ppl.

i'm tired and i've been paying for this trip ever since (school-wise).
