so i went ahead and changed my class schedule. i dropped network theory b/c of today's lecture. i was like, "wha?... umm?.... wha?... maybe i... no... crap... wha?... get me out of here."

yes, exactly like that.

i felt that i needed a stronger background in linear algebra, so i signed myself up for the more theoretical introduction of this stuff offered by the math department here. it's math 419, dubbed "linear spaces and matrix theory". the name alone evokes fear, but i need to get this done so i understand what the hell is going on in my future eecs courses. fo real.

another benefit of this switch (aside from the primary one of having the possibility of understanding the material from the get-go) is that i get to sleep in on tuesdays and thursdays. yay. i can sleep for another 2 hours compared to my previous schedule.

i've turned my umich webpages into css derived ones. so it looks a tad bit nicer, while maintaining my "no hassles" approach to webpage design.
