nice. just got past a major hurdle in my 643 project with my project partner. now i need to get a presentable applet for the presentation monday. figuring out the swing api shouldn't be as hard as learning fortran. god i hate fortran. wtf does that stand for anyways. fortran. just looks/sounds unnecessarily geeky.

hallmates seem more open then the ones i had back in my old suite. these guys actually watch football and southpark. i had to request time to use the tv in my old suite to watch the OSU vs UM game. had i not requested the time, the tv in the suite would have been used to watch proceeding of some ann arbor urban planning meeting. yes, someone was really watching it and was interested in it (she had a class assignment dealing with it). but really... is there anything more important on a fall saturday than football? really.
