my uncle passed away this past sunday, 6.9.02. it wasn't sudden because he developed cancer, and a sudden stroke about 2 months ago put him in the hospital. since then, he's been bad, and only worsened. he helped my father and mother out a lot when we first arrived in america, and he's always been around to be an extra family in grand rapids. his grandkids (my little cousins) are taking it okay, but i'm still praying that they'll make it through ok.

because of the death, my father returned early. he arrived unannounced to the GR airport, and brought back a lot of stuff. his health improved, mostly due to the freedom from stress and visiting everyone he loved back in Korea. this also means that i'm going to have to find a job asap, and take my gre's asap.
